The philanthropic focus of Mythikos Mommy, LLC is partnering with organizations that help make the lives of women better through a variety of intiatives. We are especially concerned with supporting initiatives that work to make the journey of motherhood easier.
Mahn Healthcare: We will donate a portion of all profits from the sale of our book “No One Ever Told Me…” to MAHN Healthcare's initiative Programmatic Development in Prevention of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). The overall goal of the organization is to provide preventive solutions and practices to help the world revitalize communities from the debilitating effects of communicable & preventable disease. Mahn Healthcare is committed to providing affordable healthcare needs and working with worldwide partners to help improve health outcomes in impoverished populations. The Duffy House: We offer charitable aid in the form of seminars and volunteer activities to support the initiatives of The Duffy House. The center was created and founded by Christine Eads, mother, sister, daughter, on-air radio talk show host and sexual assault survivor. She considers herself very fortunate to have had a safe and comforting place to go like The Duffy House. Now she is providing that same environment to women and children in need. She had the love and support of her family and friends to get her thru the difficult times but quickly learned in group therapy others were not as fortunate. Several of the survivors in her meeting were either returning to the scene of the crime or the violent house in which they lived simply because they had no where else to go.
