October 2009: Charlotte E. Avery is a featured panelist at the Capital Bookfest. No One Ever Told Me was a hit among the Capital Bookfest audience, selling over 70 copies in 3 hours and peaking the interest of famed author Omar Tyree. The Bookfest was the author's first signing. During the bookfest, the manager of Borders Bookstore in Largo, MD immediately fell in love with the fabulousness of "No One Ever Told Me" and is featuring it in their store!
