BoJack replies he's sure he'll find a way to mess things up. Just then, Mr. Peanutbutter interrupts them. However, BoJack is double-crossed when Mr. Peanutbutter has the 'D' delivered to his house instead and falsely confessed to stealing it as a romantic gesture for Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter guesses time flies when you're having fun. Age-Gap Romance: There is an 11 year age gap between her and Mr. Peanutbutter, her boyfriend and later husband. All the while Diane forced herself to pretend to support her husband. Mr. Peanutbutter assures her he'll never leave her alone again, but Katrina storms off saying she wants to be alone now and tells him to have fun with his hippie liberal friends. He then tells her if she knows someone who would be good for the job to let him know. In a flashback to the party, Diane spots Mr. Peanutbutter kissing Pickles, the waitress from the restaurant. Wanda tells him in a threatening tone that this is network television, so all their show's problems must be wrapped up in under half an hour, and the people want resolution. Mr. Peanutbutter is on BoJack's couch talking to two actors from Glee, asking why they also sing when they're not in the glee club. Diane then comes to the front door and apologizes to Pickles for cheating, saying it was her fault, and it'll never happen again. He realizes this the next morning after seeing the 'D' on his deck. Pickles then says that can only happen if she also sleeps with someone else. Philbert picks up the landline phone in his bedroom, where he gets the news that the police chief was murdered. Todd then tells BoJack he has his work cut out because people hate him right now. Mr. Peanutbutter later calls Diane, who is in Ojai with BoJack, very early in the morning. Mr. Peanutbutter asks what his plans are once he gets out. In a flashback from 2004, Mr. Peanutbutter exits his closet dressed as a notebook. Pickles then apologizes and says she will try to make this work for their relationship. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that she still loves him and wants to marry him, but he cant do things that hurt her because its not okay, and Mr. Peanutbutter silently agrees by nodding his head. Later that night, Diane signed the papers and officially divorced Mr. Peanutbutter. Joey then says he can't even imagine getting married right now and that he can't even commit to a social media director. She goes on to say that Mr. Peanutbutter tries to solve problems or make them go away which comes off as dismissive, but if he wants to solve the problem he has to really listen to Pickles and Mr. Peanutbutter agrees and leaves the house to talk to Pickles. After Sassy goes to bed, the real Fritz shows up and cocks his gun at Philbert, and then threatens to shoot Sassy. Mr. Peanutbutter goes into the bar. Jessica yells at Mr. Peanutbutter for not keeping the mummy away, while also revealing she auditioned to play the actual mummy as she storms off. Mr. Peanutbutter leaves the house and approaches Pickles. This was after Jimmy Fallon, the original host, was hit with a bus and "broke his face." She receives a phone call from Mr. Peanutbutter, who practices a new exercise referred to as their "Daily Download," which involves a heavy amount of repetitive and cyclic phrasing. Flea Daniels tells Mr. Peanutbutter that theyre not going to re-edit the scene because he's already been dragging it out for the longest time, with his ridiculous demands. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Doug that in order to move forward with his wife he needs to be honest with her. Mr. Peanutbutter goes on to say even if he had his assistance it wouldnt be of much use because his representatives assistants went on strike as well. A drunk BoJack tells everyone to make this party an annual thing, and he wants to see everyone back here next year. She refuses to give them candy because they are too old to be trick or treating and too young to attend the adult Halloween party. Todd celebrates his legal victory with a party at BoJack's house. Pickles suggests her high school boyfriend Buzzy. In the meat locker, Pickles asks how much longer they have to continue working with Joey. Mr. Peanutbutter tries to tell her the truth about him cheating on her with Diane, but instead, he proposes to her. Mr. Peanutbutter says okay, but she has to come, and she agrees to come if he has the divorce papers. Mr. Peanutbutter tries to be tough with them, shoving them into some trash cans, but actually cures them of their ailments. Diane and BoJack have always had a special, if also complicated, relationship, and with Diane's relationship with Mr. Peanutbutter perpetually on the fritz, season 4 might be the time they. He is five years younger than BoJack, despite looking much younger. He is eventually forced by Wanda to answer a question wrong (when did Secretariat win the Triple Crown), which Mr. Peanutbutter laughs at him for, as BoJack at the time was filming the Secretariat movie and was playing Secretariat. She gets a text from Alexi Brosefino, a famous movie star and member of the entourage "The Snatch Batch," and how he wants her to party with him that night so that she can take Instagram pictures. In Surprise!, after he takes advice from Diane, who was pretending to be his houses thermostat, Mr. Peanutbutter makes more of an effort to talk less and listen more while trying to reconcile with Pickles. Mr. Peanutbutter would continue to do this every yeardespite BoJack hating the parties, although he would always get extremely drunk by the end and would always tell the leaving guests to do it again next year. Mr. Peanutbutter jumps out of the pool and goes to talk to her, saying the conga line leader led them all into the pool. BoJack then asks why the set looks like his house. Afterward, Mr. Peanutbutter tells Diane there's a woman in the restaurant he's at that looks just like her, which makes her laugh, although it is unknown if Mr. Peanutbutter was joking or if he was actually being serious. Mr. Peanutbutter thanks the set for supporting him about his mom's death but realizes that his dad is dead too. Animation Comedy Drama Diane divorces Mr. Peanutbutter and moves into a shabby studio. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that she doesnt want to be mad at him, and Mr. Peanutbutter says thats great, going on to say that he knows he caused her pain but he still wants to marry her. She ends up being forced to talk politics with Ben Stein and Tim Allen for half an hour, making her even angrier and more bitter towards her situation, but it made her think more about government. He then splatters his meatball sandwich on his new suit and then asks Mr. Peanutbutter to buy him another suit. Mr. Peanutbutter decided to wander around L.A. in the hope that an opportunity will be handed to him, as most things were just handed to him for little or no work. Salinger. Also, the house is filled with spaghetti strainers. Later, Princess Carolyn gets another phone call from Mr. Peanutbutter. Diane goes inside Mr. Peanutbutter's office, which is filled with ball-pit balls, which Mr. Peanutbutter explains is because he recalled her wishing she had a ballroom as a child (although she tries to correct him, he jumps in before she can finish). Mr. Peanutbutter then remarks Diane is indeed a true Chicagoan. Todd bypasses the lawsuit because Walt Disney accidentally wrote down the wrong name for the trademark, "Diisneyland." Mr. Peanutbutter appears behind him and after BoJack questions why hes here, he explains hes the face of depression, to BoJacks confusion. After seeing Diane, he puts his mom on hold. However, she inadvertently encourages him to keep trying when she tells him she thinks he would have been a great governor after he says even though he likes Woodchuck, he still wanted to beat him. As he approaches Mr. Peanutbutter and Princess Carolyn, Princess Carolyn pushes Mr. Peanutbutter in front of Joeys car, and Mr. Peanutbutter is left slightly puzzled when he doesnt get hit by Joeys slow-moving car. At Todd's apartment, he has the furniture delivered and prepares the actors playing the guests for what they should say. Mr. Peanutbutter says anytime he went to a Halloween party with Katrina, they always got in a big fight, but Jessica tells him she isn't Katrina, and they'll have fun. Diane mentions the divorce papers but gets interrupted by the waitress, an excitable pug lady named Pickles, who gets along with Mr. Peanutbutter. In Ancient History, Mr. Peanutbutter visits Princess Carolyn to VIM and tells her that since season one of Philbert has wrapped, he wants to auction a greeting card, which says, "Happy Birthday Dad" with a father dog and his kidsfor a movie, Birthday Dad. In BoJack the Feminist, Mr. Peanutbutter is hosting the red carpet at the Forgivies. He notes that shaking off made their problem worse, despite the skunk scent being cleared from their bodies. Gina tells him that his mom is dead, and Mr. Peanutbutter realizes this after realizing that the farm had no phones or internet. She cheerfully says it's fine, but starts to sound upset when she talks about his ex-wives and how Diane is here. After Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane have finished up having sex, as they get dressed Mr. Peanutbutter says he'll talk to Pickles, and tell her he and Diane are getting back together. The two decide since they're both going they'll carpool in his limo. In Planned Obsolescence, Mr. Peanutbutter surprises Pickles, by picking her up from work and inviting her to go with him to the desert, so they can watch the international space station being blown up. The same year, Mr. Peanutbutter and Jessica divorced, as Jessica was tired of him taking job offers that were beneath him, and she started dating Justin Timberlake immediately after she broke up with him. She says that he won't always be her only priority. The party has ended and in their car, Diane apologizes to Mr. Peanutbutter for ruining another Halloween for him. While Mr. Peanutbutter is able to go into great detail while expressing himself to Diane, Diane has trouble doing so. She brings up that now that they are in a new tax bracket, maybe they should pay attention more to how the government is using their money. Joey tells him life is precious, and that's something he learned in rehab. Following, she grabs her keys and heads out to aid them. Woodchuck declines due to the sheer ludicrously, although after a month people will not let the challenge go. Do They Know Things?? Mr. Peanutbutter remains downstairs trying to get himself a glass of water while at the same time not noticing Princess Carolyn and Todd crawling around his kitchen floor with Ruthie. In BoJack Hates the Troops, he briefly filmed for a reality show titled Peanutbutter and Jelly. Mr. Peanutbutter says he thought she loved Joey. He thanks her and says they got picked up for more episodes, but Diane reveals she isn't going back to Philbert. Whereas in other relationships she felt like she was "her" in a relationship. She has had the epiphany "[she] is all of the Dianes" and Mr. Peanutbutter is really good for her. BoJack was cast as Mr. Peanutbutter and Naomi Watts was cast as Diane. After signing off, Pickles asks Mr. Peanutbutter whats going on, saying that hes been acting differently. Let's Find Out! After Woodchuck says during a press conference that if a state senator was willing to actually petition for an amendment to the constitution that would democratically allow him to bid his governor title on a ski race, then he would accept the challenge. BoJack says he doesn't know just that something bad will happen. She says she felt really shitty after he left that night, but when Mr. Peanutbutter assumes he made her feel that way, she rants about how she always feels like garbage. He breaks down and BoJack walks away. Mr. Peanutbutter, alone at home, still sad after calling his ill brother, gets a call from Shep Von Trapp, who offers him the role of Oscar nominee announcer. He apologizes to her, and when asked how he could do that he tells her that it was the worst mistake of his life. He's glad he knows she hates parties and they won't ever have that argument ever again. Outside, Mr. Peanutbutter runs into Princess Carolyn and Judah and tells them sadly he is giving away Pickles' favorite alcoholic energy drink seeing that he doesn't need it anymore, as Pickles no longer lives with him. Princess Carolyn prepares to calls a cleaning service, while Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter take care of their foul-smelling clothes. Paige says she only tolerates him for work otherwise she can't stand him. His high energy, unpredictability, impulsiveness, and inability to actually listen makes him rather exhausting when it comes to relationships, especially here where romance is concerned. When Diane returns home later that night, Mr. Peanutbutter talks to Diane to apologize for his grand gestures and explains how much he loves her despite having different personalities. They decide, after tricking and running away from Von Trapp, to make up the nominees by looking at the list of actors. After abandoning their first idea of a Halloween store during January, Mr. Peanutbutter throws a large launch party for "Smoodies" (a mood you can drink) at his house without an actual product behind the idea. SUB, Mr. Peanutbutter, or "Mr. Chocolate Hazelnut Spread," offers his condolences to BoJack. In Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos, he thinks this is why all his relationships fail and why his exes went from fun and happy to bitter and meanbut Diane tells him it's because he dates young women, and they just grow up while he continues to act like a "man-child" who places all the responsibilities, including himself, on them, which tires them and leads them to end their relationship with him. He tries to get to her before she can see BoJack but fails. She tells him it's too much pressure to try to be as fun as his ex-wives, and she runs out of the house. A bitter Katrina tells him while he was gone, Ben Stein introduced her to Tim Allen. They are wearing matching costumes inspired by a new social media app called "Tweed Feed," which are tweed outfits with dinner plates, silverware, and plastic food taped to them. Todd is conflicted about whether to tell BoJack this, however, he decides against it when he realizes BoJack caused him to sabotage his rock opera. In fact, it's because of Mr. Peanutbutter's compulsively supportive habits (and questionable intelligence) that BoJack is able to snag his dream role as Secretariat. Mr. Peanutbutter remarks that sounds like a hard puzzle. Mr. Peanutbutter intended to get another "D" but the unveiling reveals it's a "B," turning Hollywoo into "Hollywoob.". Also, in After the Party and What Time Is It Right Now, where he upsets and angers Diane by doing grand gestures for her and giving her elaborate gifts which she tells him countless times throughout their relationship she doesn't like. Joey concludes that there is no way to get in touch and Mr. Peanutbutter says that its too bad, as he would have loved to get together. The next room she goes into is themed after Starbucks in the Season 3 episode The BoJack Horseman Show that is where the two met.
